Det amerikanske webmagasinet Blues Blast Magazine deler hvert år ut prisene "Blues Blast Music Awards". For 2018 er norske Daniel Eriksen nominert i kategorien "Acoustic Blues Album".
Det blir delt ut priser i 12 forskjellige kategorier, og det er seks forskjellige nominasjoner i hver kategori. Daniel Eriksen vi få hard konkurranse fra Curtis Salgado & Alan Hager, Doug MacLeod, Mitch Woods, Sonny Landreth og Sunny Lowdown.
I tillegg til Daniel er halvt norske Rick Estrin & The Nightcts nominert i to kategorier, "Traditional Blues Album" og "Blues Band".
Det er nå åpent for avtemning. Avstemningen varer fram til 31. august og alle som har meldt seg på som mottaker av BBMs gratis nyhetsbrev kan delta. Gå inn på BluesBlastMagazine.com
Prisene vil bli delt ut undet et show den 29. september i Tebala Event Center i Rockford i staten Illinois.
