The Norwegian band gave a good show in the competition which this year was hosted by the European Union Blues for the fifth time. The musical level of the challenge was very high, and a nearly full Ancienne Belgique concert hall in the EU capital experienced two evenings with varied blues related music. The 19 bands represented various styles from more traditional acoustic blues and classic "shuffle bands», via swinging jazzy blues to heavier blues and jazz-rock inspired bands. There were announed a winner and a second and third place. In addition to the winners from Spain and the Norwegian band on third place, came the host country Belgium 2nd place with Doghouse Sam and his trio. Other bands giving a good performance were Laurence Jones Band from England, The Leif De Leeuw Band from the Netherlands, Lisa Lystam Family Band from Sweden, Dave Moretti Blues Revue from Italy and Micke Björklöf & Blue Strip from Finland.
